ROOFTOP HEROES: “PUNCHLINE”

Swiss band Rooftop Heroes has just released a new track, and we can’t get enough of it! An unmissable part of their new indiepop album “Sugar”, “Punchline” is an addictive track perfect for those late night car rides. If you are feeling lost and need a bit of solidarity, then this is the song for you.

Detailing feelings of despair and self doubt, “Punchline” explores the fear of missing out on life and messing things up. An honest and unprocessed assessment, the sincerity with which “Punchline” is written allows Rooftop Heroes to reach even the most stoic of listeners. Delivered to us on dreamy vocals, Rooftop Heroes successfully create a layered, evocative atmosphere. The soft beats and accompanying instrumentals work well with the lyrics to bring a raw, somber energy.

All in all, this Swiss trio have absolutely nailed not only “Punchline”, but also the rest of the “Sugar” album. Unfortunately, the band did announce that with the release of “Sugar”, they will be parting ways, but we are sure that no matter where life takes them, all three members will continue to share their creativity and talent!
