Rare ‘Bird of Paradise’ Canna Lily Rhizome

• NOTE: This is NOT the Bird of Paradise plant (Strelitzia reginae).

You will receive 1 FRESH RHIZOME (BARE ROOT) to ensure your garden is full and beautiful. The rhizome will be trimmed for shipping. When in bloom, it has coral and pink petals with spider-like blossoms. This canna gets its name from the lance-like purple and green foliage that resemble the strelitzia reginae. This specific type of canna normally grows between four (4) to seven (7) feet in height in the right conditions.

Canna Lilies take full sun to partial shade. The more sun and water they receive, the bigger they grow. They can range from two to eight feet in height, and are easy growers for those who do not have a green thumb.

These plants can stay outside in zones 7-11 during the winter. If you are located in zone 6 (or colder climates), you will want to bring them indoor for winter.
