PETER LAKE: “SWEET SOUR MINDS”

Peter Lake’s new single is a head trip.

It’s a ride through the mysterious singer-songwriter’s eclectic style. “Sweet Sour Minds” is a genre bending track. It starts off with rapid, staccato chords and then turns into fast paced, affected vocals and echoes before the main verses kick in. The music reflects the lyrics. For example, when Lake sings about being in a “gray haze,” the music has a psychedelic haze effect. The descriptive lyrics take listeners into Lake’s world and what he’s experiencing. The upbeat music and catchy lyrics will have listeners moving to the beat and singing along.

“Sweet Sour Minds” is a single off the New York City based artist’s recently released 3-song EP entitled Green.
