“Overplayed” speaks of the aftermath of an unhealthy relationship. A relationship that was out of sync, and played itself out. With lines like “Came into my heart like Armageddon”, listeners cannot help but feel connected to the song through its clever lyricism. Written with the perfect blend of professionalism and passion, Dav ID proves his salt as a storyteller with “Overplayed”.

Delivered to us on low, enticing vocals, Dav ID delivers not only through his lyrics, but also with his impressive sound. The accompanying instrumentals are well utilised to build up the vocals, creating tension and pulling us deeper into the song. Dav ID successfully creates a moody, melancholic atmosphere that reaches audiences and helps them connect on an even deeper level to “Overplayed”.
