A friendship goes wrong in Zoe Ferguson’s “Christine.”
The song deals with a major rift in a relationship. Whatever “Christine” did was so hurtful that her friend will never forget it and will act like they don’t even know each other.
The angry lyrics are juxtaposed by Ferguson’s sweet vocals. Despite the frustration of the breakup, the track also gives off a cool, retro vibe.
The Portland, Oregon native co-wrote the song with Drew Alexander. The two collaborated on many of the tracks off of Ferguson’s recently released album, Probably About You. “Christine” is one of the seven tracks on the new EP.
