Youthstar has teamed up with Miscellaneous and Bankal to bring us an absolute banger of a track. ‘Fuck It’ is an unapologetic anthem for those that are tired of being stuck at the bottom. Sick of watching others grow fat on the backs of others while they struggle. More than just a meretricious money maker, ‘Fuck It’ is imbued with raw, unpretentious passion and skill.

Although harsh in language, ‘Fuck It’ is undoubtedly inspiring all the same. The coarse nature of the story told allow listeners to connect more personally to the song, without having to sift through generic the generic lyrics and tropes that permeate much modern music. The hopelessness of living in poverty and desperation to escape is a tough reminder of the reality that many live, and is captured authentically in ‘Fuck It’.

Not only is the story that Youthstar, Miscellaneous and Bankal tell skillfully articulated, but so too is the musical component. The hard vocals and chilling beats are well arranged to further enhance the meaning of ‘Fuck It’, without detracting from it. It is simultaneously sobering and inspiring. Hard yet heartfelt.

All in all, I can only commend the creators of ‘Fuck It’ for creating such a hard hitting song. One that will stick with you, it is absolutely worth the listen.
