If there’s one we love here at the Gas Mask HQ, it’s a solid WORLD PREMIERE! Behold! The latest from Juno Mamba called, “Slow Light” below.

Juno Mambo has a way with melodies, and on his latest tune titled, “Slow Light” he gives us a gentle downtempo vibe that we can’t seem to get enough of. The song is intoxicating and throttling all at the same time; pulsing beats help lead the way.

Lucky for you, we had a chance to talk with Juno Mamba about the song. He said, “Slow Light was the second track I wrote. I was digging through old sessions and found a bass progression I recorded a year before using a Moog Sub 37. This became the starting point of the song and used in the final version you hear now…I was obsessively watching Interstellar and I think it subconsciously informed the sound design process. If I listen to the intro now, I imagine the scene when Murph is emotionally running after her dad as he drives off for the last time before his voyage into space.”

There you have it folks! Listen to the track below, and let us know what you think on Gas Mask. Tell us today on social media at: @gasmaskmagazine. Want more of the best music around? Keep checking back for more reviews, right here on Gas Mask!
