“When You Were Mine” is a deceptively upbeat post-breakup song from pop band, The Shadowboxers.

It’s not easy to still come across beats and melodies that are unique but “When You Were Mine” has managed to deliver just that. This is a groovy soul-pop song with an interesting arrangement of instrumentals.

The Shadowboxers are a singer-songwriter trio made up of original members Scott Tyler, Adam Hoffman and Matt Lipkins. “When You Were Mine” does a great job of showcasing their perfectly blended voices of rhythm, soul and harmony. This is a very likeable new song that’s definitely worth a listen.
