Ted Fish: “She’s Electricity”

Quick, dirty, so much fun. No, I’m not talking about my boyfriend, I’m talking about this Rock/House hybrid from the talented Ted Fish. “She’s Electricity” starts off with a funky bass line above the distortion and crisp, electronic snaps and claps. This calm quickly amps up as more and more layers of digital distortion are thrown into the mix. The vocals, with the vibrant energy of a couple electric iced teas and an infectious beat, tease and toy with cleverly written lyrics.

Beginning pretty straightforward, the track tricks you with every new element thrown in. From the sparse plucking and strumming of a bass guitar to the eclectic crash and cascade of an electronic power surge, complete with impassioned grunts, this song rises in intensity and complexity. Let this song shock you awake and listen in. Stream it below, and tell us what you think of it on social media at: @gasmaskmagazine.
