Sumner Stroh has released her debut single, and we can’t get enough! Written in response to the mass online backlash and shaming she found herself in back in September 2022, “Love to Hate” is Stroh’s way of saying her piece. Of telling her side of the story. If you’ve ever found yourself in the midst of high levels of drama, or whether you are someone who simply loves to watch the drama unfold, we guarantee that you will love this song!

Back in September, Stroh went viral after revealing that she had been having an affair with Maroon 5’s Adam Levine. After the confession, she was the subject of intense online ridicule and shaming. With the announcement of her song release, she said, “Rather than give into this bandwagon, mob mentality, cancel culture, I wanted to instead write a song.” With the release of “Love to Hate”, Sumner hopes that it will encourage listeners to think twice before they rush to pass judgement on someone.

Delivered to us on Stroh’s sultry tones, “Love to Hate” not only has an interesting story, but is also a banger to listen to! The catchy beat and accompanying instrumentals build up the song well, giving it a rough, rebellious feel. It creates a very unapologetic,  edgy listening experience.

All in all, we absolutely love what Sumner Stroh has put together, and the reason behind it. We hope she has some more tracks lined up, because she has absolutely nailed this one!
