Don’t miss out on Steven K and Shuba’s “Too Little Too Late.” It’s a heartfelt pop song that expresses the male and female perspectives of a relationship.
The slow guitar chords at the beginning set the mood for the melancholy story to come. Steven K starts off the track with how he perceived the relationship. Then, Shuba’s harmony comes in, followed by the female point of view. The sentimental song focuses on what could have been.
Friends Steven K and Sheba co-wrote the song together. Steven K feels a deep connection to the track and took to his Twitter page to explain the background behind it:
at the end of 2014 I felt completely empty.. I had lost so much all at once and I didn’t know how to process it.. I didn’t have the ability to “feel” things..then out of nowhere.. someone special came into my life and showed me that I could still “feel”
I didn’t know how to articulate it at the time.. but the weight of the world felt lighter a few years later when the dust settled the clarity came.. that’s when I realized that my effort to reciprocate that energy was “too little too late
