Spoken word, trap beats, and pop punk vocals, this song may be ahead of its time. With a concoction of different genres it is sure to keep you listening and please many music lovers.

SkyDxddy had no fear into mixing the two genres in this fearless song. And the best part about it is that it works so well. SkyDxddy’s raw punk vocals match well with the trap 808’s. Her rapping style is unique and commanding as she preaches to listeners on why we shouldn’t let society dictate how we see ourselves. Austin Ruddins performance also impacts the song’s message with his well timed verses on perseverance. SkyDxddy is no stranger to social conscious music as her discography mainly touches on female empowerment, body positivity, and reclaiming your power. Her style being similar to Pink, Avril Lavigne and Haley Williams, Sky Dxddy is bringing back the alternative pop punk scene we all know and love.

As her singing style reminds me of mid 2000’s music, her lyrics heavily touch on topics that are very relevant today. I believe many young people will see SkyDxddy as someone to look up to as her music continues to discuss hard topics and regain confidence.
