Ever had a song take you by the hips and move you? Ever had a song leave you drenched in sweat long after the music stopped? “Sway” is more than a Deep House track, it’s a command, it’s an order. It’s inevitable.
Simon Sode flexes all of his mixing and producing skills and creates an amazing piece of work. There is an aggressive muscularity to the lyrics, every word a roadmap of what the song will do once it gets you going. The breakdowns throughout, stripped down to just a rapid pulse and sparsely reverbed vocals, are an expert crowd control effect. An ode to someone bad for your health but never dull, we couldn’t help but “Sway” to the music. Never breaking flow, never losing vibe, the song slides through each transition flawlessly. I’ve been putting this track on blast all week, punctuating long days with this absolute vibe. One-person EDM concerts are easy with surround-sound speakers, a full wet bar, and this must-hear audio experience. Just turn off the lights, kick up the strobe, and destroy your speakers with the pulsing House beat. Stream it below, and tell us what you think on social media at: @gasmaskmagazine.
