Relikc: “Would You Ever”

Relikc is apologizing for causing heartache in their new single.  Even though the title of the song is “Would You Ever,” the line that is often repeated in the lyrics is “I didn’t mean to break your heart.”  These words are a strong representation of the back and forth sentiment that is expressed throughout the rest of the song.  It depicts the strong emotional ties between two lovers. 

As for the music, it has a bit of a playful tone.  The rhythmic sounds give off an 80’s nostalgic vibe with infectious music and lyrics.

The video for “Would You Ever” uses art as a means of expression.  The couples’ passion is conveyed through happy and angry bouts of painting.  The band touts Maltese artist Rachel Caruana for being able to provide a visual representation of their song through her paintings (which are the centerpiece of the video).  Check out the video for Relikc’s “Would You Ever”
