Rakan Ayyoub is storming in with a new single. “Thunder” is a hip-hop track with some serious heat.

The song has an anticipatory open that leaves the listener wanting more.  The line “I’ve been here” enticingly echoes just before the beat and the verses drop.  The lyrics focus on proving oneself.  Sound effects are used to amplify the words.  The track is described on Ayyoub’s Spotify page as “the journey of the artist when faced with adversity.”

The Los Angeles based artist/rapper joined forces with Houston rapper Dice Soho on the song.  Their flows mesh well together and deliver the energy that moves the track along.  “Thunder” is a single off Ayyoub’s recently released 5-song EP entitled Steps of the Chosen 2.
