Rachel Wang has released a new single, and it has enthralled us all! ‘Ur Funeral’ is a spooky treat that is sure to capture your heart.
Released right in time for Halloween, ‘Ur Funeral’ pays homage to classic horror films, in particular, “I know What You Did Last Summer”. A song of retribution, it details the story of a man with a dark past, that tried to cover it up. However, the cat is out of the bag, and he cannot hide from it anymore. His ugly past is catching up with him, and he is in danger.
Wang breathes ‘Ur Funeral’ to life with her sultry, addictive vocals. The atmospheric instrumentals serve to further the spooky tone of the song, and compliment Wang’s voice nicely. With these aspects, a very thrilling listening experience is created, allowing listeners to be drawn in by ‘Ur Funeral’.
‘Ur Funeral’ is such a fun, fantastic song, and even though Halloween has already passed, it will remain on our playlists all year around! We can’t wait to see what Wang will impress us with next!
