Rachel Cousins is changing her tune and expressing herself with “Love Language.”
The new song is a departure from her folk and acoustic roots. It’s a pop song with an R&B vibe. Cousins’ smooth vocals on the track showcase her versatility and provide a sexy, cool tone. “Love Language” proves that she’s ready to take on the Pop world.
Throughout her career, the Canadian singer/songwriter has collaborated with many other Newfoundland stars and has received accolades for her musical abilities. Cousins inked a publishing deal and had her songs placed in TV shows and a TV movie.
Last year, two of her songs made East Coast Music List’s Top 100, coming in at numbers two and twelve. She recently took home Music NL’s Pop Artist Of the Year award. In addition, her producing skills left her a finalist in CBC Music’s Toyota Searchlight 2021 competition.
