Wild Taro (Green Elephant Ear)

You will receive 1 FRESH RHIZOME (BARE ROOT) to ensure your garden is full and beautiful. The rhizome will be trimmed for shipping. This plant grows quickly—creating bright green leaves ranging from one (1) to two (2) feet wide when mature. It will clump into a luscious beauty, growing three (3) to five (5) feet in height, as well.

These plants take full sun to partial shade and are easy growers for those who do not have a green thumb. Moist or wet soil is ideal.

The Wild Taro Elephant Ear can grow in zones 3-10. However, it should be lifted during fall in zones 3-8 for winter.
