You will receive 1 FRESH RHIZOME (BARE ROOT) to ensure your garden is full and beautiful. The rhizome will be trimmed for shipping. This plant grows quickly—creating deep purple and black leaves. It will clump into a luscious beauty, growing three (3) to five (5) feet tall.

These plants take full sun to partial shade and are easy growers for those who do not have a green thumb. Moist or wet soil is ideal.

The Nigra Elephant Ear can grow in zones 3-10. However, it should be lifted during fall in zones 3-8 for winter.
