Parker McKay is singing about “All of the Things” she wants in her new single.
The song is a wish list for a relationship. The ethereal music combined with her soft vocals give the song the dream-like quality which the lyrics describe. While most of the track has a calming feel to it, there are pockets that highlight McKay’s ability to hit the high notes. It’s a beautifully, subdued showcase of her vocal range that matches the tone of the song.
McKay is a talented singer-songwriter from New Hampshire that now calls Nashville her home. She was a contestant on the current season (21) of NBC’s The Voice as part of Kelly Clarkson’s team. Many fans of the show believe that she was eliminated too early, but in doing so, gave her some time to release new music (like “All of the Things”) and play some shows.
