We’re at a loss of words to describe the effect “Corona Virus” had on us when we played it the first time. It’s not a long song. It’s not a complex song. But damn if it isn’t hilariously clever.

The lyrics, while simple, have a humorous punch that will catch you off guard. We found ourselves hit with an unorthodox one-two punch of tongue-in-cheek lyrics that played it straight and a hard beat that crashed onto the scene and used the funniest chorus of the song to bludgeon us into confused laughter.

There’s a lot of talk about an artist’s intent, of execution, etc. That’s a deep and important question for art and artists. In the case of ONEDUO, Vinny Vibe, JUELZ, and BEIIA’s strange but captivating track, we honestly couldn’t care less. We had fun, we laughed, we listened to it far too many times, and now we’re recommending you treat yourself to a unique listening experience. THEN, let us know what you think of this tune on social media today: @gasmakmagazine.
