California is many things. An idea, a place, a hope, and many, many songs. In this spicy track by EDM Producer NSH, “California” is illustrated as a neverland of passionate, heat of the moment decisions and longing. 

The tropical influences are prominent, a fiercely danceable beat coursing from your speakers. The lyrics present California like a secret place to get away, to reunite, to keep the promises made in other, far off places. Completing this alluring soundscape is the sultry, seductive voice of guest artist Jaksch. Easy to imagine dancing across a strobe-lit dancefloor, surrounded by bumping, grinding, faceless others moving to the beat, Jaksch is a force to be reckoned with. Being a native Californian myself, I’m definitely adding this song to the short list of my ‘West Coast’ playlist.
