Direct your attention to Nonstop to Cairo’s new single “Million Dollar Space.”

The song has a cool groove that starts at the first note.  The opening guitar fuels the funk that continues throughout the track.  The group’s eclectic, ska sound is heard through the horns and the hip hop style vocals.  In explaining the song, the band’s lead singer, ASH, said, “’Million Dollar Space’ is a gritty, funky, and energetic song that is driving and catchy. A fallout of this never-ending hustle, and not being able to truly enjoy the fruits of our labor.” The chorus echoes that sentiment with the lines “look inside my place I got a million-dollar space, said look inside my place, my place is empty.”

“Million Dollar Space” is the first single off the Long Island, NY band’s upcoming album KAI.  The album is dedicated to the group’s trumpet player / keyboardist, Kevin Anand Itwaru, who sadly passed away before the album was recorded. KAI are his initials.
