Moodssupply: “Imagination”

By: Eric Reyes
May 29, 2020

Funkadelic. It sounds archaic, outdated, outmoded. But Funk, as a sound, defies the bounds of space and time. Funk, in all its forms, both evil and benign, moves the body.

Dutch-born international collaborative group Moodssupply offers up an interesting track of many flavors. Combining Funk, Disco, Indie-electronica, and various shades of European House, Imagination is full of its namesake quality. The groove is so seamless in its effect that it is imperceptible. Visions of beaches, or gleaming, glassy coastal cities bathed in the orange sherbet light of a sun caught at the lip of the world spring to mind. Pulsing, shifting, edgeless dancefloors with strobes and glittering, reflective confetti. That and more awaits you. Stream it below, and tell us what you think of it on social media at: @gasmaskmagazine.
