Meen Streets immediately gets applause for their band name, which takes a nod at the Scorsese-directed classic Mean Streets. Bang bang! Furthermore, their song “Playboys of the Western World” is a jam like no other alternative band we’ve heard of in a long time. From the lyrics to the production value to the streets it details, this is some INTELLECTUAL groove. Thinking caps on, folks. Top this cake off with the talented sprinkle of vocals, and this song is a delectable treat!
