Ever have those days that no matter what you tried nothing worked out, making you feel like the unluckiest person ever? Well then “Unlucky” is your anthem.
“Unlucky” is the catchy new single from artist Mat Hannah. This pop song could just as easily find its way into the country genre with its hopelessness hidden within an upbeat melody. I even heard the slightest hint of a country twang in Mat Hannah’s voice as the first few lines were sung. Then the chorus gets into a poppy beat, reminding you of where it belongs. Mat Hannah delivers the lyrics in such an energizing flow that it makes you forget just how down on his luck this guy really is.
“Unlucky” will have you singing along no matter where your current level of good fortune resides.
