Cali-born singer-songwriter Leah Kate has a funky new pop single called “Veronica” that plays out like a breakup rom-com.
In the offbeat song, a young woman finds out that her boyfriend is cheating by accidentally running into the other women named “Veronica.” Instead of being mad with each other, the ladies hit it off, dump the two-timing boyfriend and become friends. Sticking together and kicking the bad guy to the curb, makes this a representation of female empowerment and could be a modern day anthem of such. Leah Kate delivers the song with a sassy playfulness wrapped in smoldering confidence. All this relationship drama is set to a groovy beat.
As is increasingly common these days, Leah Kate began her musical career in 2018 with the launch of a YouTube channel. She is set to embark on a nationwide Fresh Start Tour with Bailey Bryan across North America. The tour kicks off in Los Angeles on September 21st and runs through October 2021.
