How many times have we heard the phrase “Don’t burn yourself out to keep others warm”? How many times have we actually put this phrase into action? Impressing us all with her newest single, Kristina Koller addresses just that.
‘Flicker’ is a musical masterpiece that talks to the struggle of being the person that everyone loads on emotionally, and the toll that can take on someone. Drawing from her own experiences, Koller bravely breathes to life the hardship of being an emotional dumping ground for others. With her soulful voice and captivating instrumentals, we are also provided an intimate and meaningful listening experience. ‘Flicker’ is reminiscent of both jazz and R&B, and the easy sounds coat the ears like honey. Listeners are able to connect easily with ‘Flicker’, and will find themselves mesmerized!
With such a stunning, evocative song, we can’t help but fall in love with Koller and her music. We’re excited to see what will be next!
