A sweet song with a great story “Dear John” leaves us hopeful that after death comes life. Kristen Karma brings up this topic that we have all asked ourselves in the most beautiful way possible.

“Dear John” is a slow pop song about the loss of the artist’s loved one “John” and how the pondering idea of him being a guardian angel. What I love most about this song is that even though the topic may be heavy and emotional, you don’t get drowned into the sadness of the message. The lyrics combined with the pop composition actually makes it more uplifting. As if Karma is showing you the silver lining that even though they’re gone, they will also be looking over you. The rap verse done by MR ATP is inspirational as well, fitting perfectly with the song’s hopeful spirit. 

Dear John is a pop ballad that may help many listeners get through a painful loss. When you’re missing them the most, Kristen Karma will give you that gentle reminder that you are never alone.
