London original KJ makes his mark with his standout single, “Road.”

A pugnacious and confrontational attitude is a staple in the London Rap scene. Born from the same social decay, poverty and counter-culture inclinations as was the American originals, it can be difficult to set yourself apart from the general market or prominent sub-genres. KJ takes the opportunity to let us know who he is, as an artist and as a person. Taking to task any haters or naysayers who may doubt his credentials, he makes his ability and skill plain. With a fresh beat backing him, he belts out every bar like it is a proclamation.
