Kat Moran is reinforcing that everything will be okay wither her new single “I’ll Be Alright.”

It’s an important sentiment for anyone going through a trying time.  Moran has a deep connection to the lyrics and it shows throughout the song.  Her honest vocals emote the pain that she has experienced.  The vocal variety she utilizes helps bring to life the heartfelt lyrics.  Moran wrote about the personal struggle that inspired the song on her social media:

This song means so much to me. I wrote it about something so personal that most of you don’t know about yet. For many years I’ve been struggling with Crohn’s Disease. It’s been a very hard journey with ups and downs and through so much of it I felt so alone. I didn’t understand why I had to have it. I couldn’t accept the fact that I would have this disease for the rest of my life. I was so scared of how it would affect my life. I wrote this song in the midst of my pain and I wanted to share it with all of you. If you have Crohn’s Disease or anything else you’re struggling with I want you to know that you’re not alone! We’re all HERE for each other! I hope this song helps you like it helped me accept myself for who I am with all that comes with it.

Since opening up about her battle, she has been bringing awareness to the disease.  She shared her story on a podcast and was a panelist at a Life with Crohn’s seminar.  November is Crohn’s and Colitis Awareness Month so it’s the perfect time for Moran to release “I’ll Be Alright” and show everyone that there is support out there.
