John Hanifin’s new single is “Unremarkably Remarkable.” The upbeat, pop track has a catchy chorus and an encouraging message.
Hanifin said in an Instagram post, “This song is about staying true to yourself and understanding that you may not resonate with everyone and others may not resonate with you…and that’s okay.” He added, “You can’t find your worth in others – only within yourself. Remember, there’s only one of you.” Hanifin’s clear and charming vocals add to the positive spirit of the song. He explained that the line, “Sometimes it is the people no one can imagine anything of who do the things no one can imagine” from the movie Imitation Game sparked the idea for the track.
Hanifin co-wrote the song with Mary Towsley & David Rosenthal. He also produced and engineered the track. “Unremarkably Remarkable” is a single off the Massachusetts musician’s upcoming solo album, Clean House, which is scheduled for release in April. Hanifin is not only a talented singer, songwriter and producer but also an established cellist.
