Jake Aldridge has just released a new single, and it is warming our hearts. When you are feeling alone and facing hardships, you need to give ‘Down’ a listen.
In a world where negativity is everywhere you look, Aldridge offers a light in the dark. A tune of solidarity and comfort, for those who need it. ‘Down’ speaks directly to the underdogs, the ridiculed, and the insecure. It lets them know that they are not alone in what they face.
Accompanying the pop-country ballad is a touching music video. Featuring Aldridge as he sings, it also follows the story of an old man, who does not appear to have a lot. In spite of this, as the old man sings and plays his guitar, the joy he holds onto is undeniable.
The passion for lifting others up that Aldridge so clearly displays makes him likable not only as an artist, but a person. We are so excited for future releases from Jake Aldridge!
