One of our favorite NorCal indie artists HiRSH has dropped a new single that is indie pop at its finest. A solid, chill groove woven with emotional lyrics and delicious beats, “Next To You” is a track you will fall in love with instantly. While it is well grounded in a rock foundation, you can hear that HiRSH has pulled from various genres to make this a truly unique earworm. We could write about HiRSH’s musical quality for days, but the big star of “Next To You” are the soulful lyrics that take us all to a place of longing and heartache. HiRSH paints a gorgeous picture that reminds us that these emotions are in fact beautiful because they’re what make us human.
