Femke has dropped a new track today! Keep reading to see what we thought about “Wounded”!

We previously had the privilege to exclusively premiere a bouncy pop track by Femke, but she is dropping a new track TODAY that shows a different side of the singer/songwriter/producer. Prepare yourself for Femke’s incredible versatility and artistry.

“Wounded” is a indie folk track that feels floral and seasonal in nature. It is soft and delicate instrumentally and beautifully haunting vocally. This song is stacked with strings that paint an interesting soundscape that almost sounds like the feeling of hope in an otherwise hopeless world. Femke tells many different stories throughout this track, but they all come together with the same theme: the attempt to heal, and knowing that you are not the only one hurting.
