Emotionally unavailable is the new basic and we’re pissed about it too, Fiske. “Simp” is the perfect anthem for poetic softies, ready to take a bat to the next psychic vampire masquerading as potential. Fiske normalizes feeling broken hearted in a cold world, while highlighting the foolishness found in our attractions to the shallow and broken.
