We’ve all been guilty of being push overs from time to time, but Estella Dawn is here to set the record straight and help us all stop apologizing for failing to please everyone on her track, “I Dare You.”

We were lucky enough to get an exclusive first look at this empowering new track. Our main takeaway: Estella Dawn is not here to play! Backed by a gritty, classic rock-inspired beat, Dawn speaks up loud and clear to let us know that she’s ready to stand up for herself. “Pull the curtain, I’m done sleeping,” she kicks off this IDGAF anthem in her striking R&B-inflected voice. 

Dawn’s lyrics strike a few sensitive chords, but that’s exactly her intention. Her commanding vocal performance draws attention to every word that rolls off her lips and we’re listening intently, so we don’t miss a thing. Take notes because Dawn has a few tips for fixing a passive attitude. We love how this song focuses on building up confidence and using your voice to make sure no one ever underestimates you.
