The concept of a child prodigy is not so unique, but sometimes there are certain young up-and-coming artists with so much talent and potential its almost hard to wrap your mind around how someone can be so naturally gifted. 16-year-old Dutch DJ and producer Elliot Kings is the ultimate case in point and his debut track, “Something About You” is proof of his genius.

Born in a musical household, King started playing guitar and piano at 11 and started producing at just 13-years-old. Now, the musician is helping others create music while crafting his own sound. Oh, and he’s still in school at the Herman Brood Academie, too. In the midst of balancing various projects, King has finally found the time to release his debut track, “Something About You.”

Soaring instrumentals, bright synths, and empowering lyrics collide on this electrifying tune about young love. Kings lyrics feel naïve and full of wisdom at the same time which is testament to his great abilities as a songwriter. There are musicians who take years to accomplish what Kings has mastered sonically and lyrically in such a short amount of time. Impressed doesn’t even begin to cover what we think, so give “Something About You” a listen and prepare to be blown away.
