EllaHarp is giving us a treat on this New Music Saturday. Check out the new single “Bittersweet” from the singer/songwriter below.

The definition of bittersweet is an aftertaste of bitterness after having something sweet. Usually in reference to food, wine and/or flavor this song is about a reality check she’s experiencing. “Bittersweet” is EllaHarp’s response to the world right now. “While paper lying in the street,” she sings about how things used to be. Times are definitely not what they used to be but the experience is definitely more about hindsight vision. We appreciate the song’s dress with the lyrical detail and vocal draping. EllaHarp might sing about how “Bittersweet” things are in the current state but there’s nothing wrong with this record in the past or present!
