There’s a bit of a throwback vibe to this track and I’m here for it.
Elgin’s newest track ‘Love Is A Party’ has a lot going for it. An entertaining and engaging mix that quickly gets to the briskly paced vocals, the track doesn’t waste any time getting down to business. The beat is infectious and will get you moving. The throwback element of this track really engaged me. It felt like something out of the late 90’s with just a bit of early 00’s pop and dance deftly mixed in. The production quality here is great, with a well textured and layered sound that stays fresh and doesn’t just recycle itself to kill time.
Though it hits an easy stride early on, it doesn’t rest purely on the strength of the mix. The vocal talent here is unmistakable, with wonderful brightness and excellent range. The lyrics are fun and light as well, great fodder for any club mix.
