Singer-Songwriter Dan Olsen has released a soft, reflective alternative folk track titled, “It Was Only Yesterday.” One thing is for sure: it is hitting us right in the feels.

We are loving the haunting vocals, heartbreaking lyrics and subtle instrumentation in this song. Olsen time and time again has proven himself to be a master storyteller, and his music continues to evolve. We love how clear his musical inspirations are and while he pays respects to them, his songs sound authentically him. Taking the instrumental stylings of Jack Johnson and James Bay (and stamping a Hozier like vocal quality overall), not only would you have perfection, but you’d have this tune.
