We absolutely cannot get enough of Australian artist Coco Bevan’s newest single! “Bruised Ego” is an unapologetic pop anthem calling out emotionally immature men. If you are familiar with the type, then we guarantee you’ll love this track.

Speaking to the walking red flags that will mistreat women when they don’t get what they want, Bevan is straight forward and unmerciful in her words. “Baby boy with a bruised ego, wake up it’s time to grow. 25 crying like a fucking brat.” She sings. We absolutely love the honest way she approaches the topic, and it is refreshing to hear someone call out these kind of people in such a blunt, blatant way.

We are obsessed not only with the message behind “Bruised Ego”, but also with the musicality. Bevan delivers it on smooth, hard hitting vocals that are addictive on the ears. The accompanying instrumentals build the energy of “Bruised Ego” nicely, creating a very energetic, edgy experience for listeners. Not only that, but we are treated to a stunning music video where Bevan looks absolutely incredible. Bright pastel tones further the pop energy, and serve to elevate the whole song without detracting from it.
