Country singer-songwriter Chris Ruediger is reminiscing back on the past and his college years of yesterday in the new single, “Only So Many.” The reflective track will have you too reliving memories from the good old days.
Luckily “Only So Many” has an upbeat, hip-hop infused pop-country melody that keeps melancholy from setting in. Otherwise, the realization that you need to make the most of every moment because you only get so many opportunities to do so, might be cause for some waterworks. Ruediger’s modern approach to country music shines though from vocals to lyrics and instrumentation.
As a kid, the Nashville-based musician’s influences ranged from Bruce Springsteen to Tim McGraw. When Ruediger started training on the piano and moved into acoustic guitar, he fell in love with country music. He is also the co-creator of the “The 615 House,” a TikTok account boasting more than 985K followers which features upcoming Nashville singer-songwriters who share and promote their music.
“Only So Many” is one of four songs featured on Chris Ruediger’s upcoming EP, Kid Anymore, set for release October 15th.
