Imagine a world in which crime and poverty have been eradicated. Sounds nice, right? However, in this scenario, we are all under rule by an extraterrestrial force. Such is the case in Captive State, the upcoming science fiction film from writer/director Rupert Wyatt. 

The film is set in a neighborhood in Chicago following the occupation by an extraterrestrial force. Some have chosen to cooperate and some have chosen to protest. The film explores both sides of the conflict. Captive State is a timely film in the wake of our current political climate. The film stars John Goodman (The Big Lebowski), Vera Farmiga (Bates Motel) and Ashton Sanders (Moonlight).
