Bonze is speaking directly to you in this spritely track. “Higher” has a consistently peppy dance beat throughout, keeping up the tempo. 

The mix is very effective, it doesn’t crowd or overshadow the simple vocals. The vocal work is nice and easy, letting you savor and enjoy the tonality. That being said it doesn’t take the opportunity to overwhelm you with overly poetic lyrics, but instead keeps it light, keeps it lean. The simplicity of the track helped clear my mind, but not in a zoned-out kind of way. The track stimulates you without barraging you with unnecessary chaff. Stripped down, easygoing, fun to listen to. What more do you need?
