Be No Rain’s “Call Back” is our new addiction!

From the single to its accompanying video, “Call Back” is full of 80s nostalgia. Reminiscent of Tears for Fears and other faves, the synthesizer complements Be No Rain’s strong vocal performance. “I wanna see you again, I wanna kiss that lip” encapsulates his longing for a previous date that went all too well. While we don’t know if he ever received the “call back”, we certainly enjoy the track’s electric guitar solo and retro animation featured in the video.

Be No Rain is a musical artist hailing from London. “Call Back” is the newest release from his highly anticipated debut album, Strawberry Backstory. According to his interview with Wonderland Magazine, the whole album is based on his songs he wrote during his adolescence and young adulthood. The high school theme of this video is evidence of just that! Be No Rain is already working on his sophomore album, and we can’t wait to hear more.
