The young pop-punk band from Florida is out with a jamming new track, “Uncomfortably Numb.” Arrows in Action are a self-proclaimed “boy band” with a rock edge.
In a synth-saturated world of music, it’s refreshing to be brought back to a ‘90s garage band vibe. “Uncomfortably Numb” is a cool title for a duet about the unraveling of a relationship. I enjoyed the entire song, but my favorite part is the buildup to the exciting bridge featuring some hard-hitting drum-guitar solos. Unexpectedly, I found that the chorus was still resounding in my head days later.
Contributing vocals on this pop-rock track, is singer-songwriter Taylor Acorn. The country newcomer disguises every ounce of twang for an edgy pop vocal performance that enhances the atmosphere of the song.
“Uncomfortably Numb” is the newest single from Arrows in Action’s upcoming EP, Be More, to be released October 1st.
