If you’re looking for a pretty nice song, turn up the volume on singer-songwriter Aica’s new single, “Pretty Nice Guy.”
From the very first piano note, “Pretty Nice Guy” starts off with a whole lot of soul. The song carries a mostly R&B ambiance with a sprinkle of pop thrown in for extra flavor.
Aica shows off her singing range on “Pretty Nice Guy” with a substantial number of vocal runs throughout. I’m sure the surplus of vocal gymnastics is also used in an attempt to add more emotional depth to the lyrics being sung, which does pay off here. The Toronto native has a unique, soulful singing style that brings a fresh vibe all her own.
